I think Lassis are the best thing to happen to dessert drinks. So easy to make and delicious as well. Lassis come in many different flavors that I would really like to try. Some are sweet, others salty, some include herbs like mint and most have fruit as the main ingredients. Today I give you a twist to the traditional Mango Lassi. A Lassi is basically just a yogurt based mango milkshake or a smoothie is you will. You can even add spices like Cardamon, Nutmeg or even Cinnamon.The fruits can be canned, fresh or frozen, if using frozen then you do not really need to add ice cubes. I wanted to up the flavor of the Mango Lassi by adding my favorite chocolate, Rum&Raisin Dairyland Chocolate!
INGREDIENTS
2 Mangoes
500 ml Plain Yogurt
1/4 Cup Honey
Rum & Raisin Chocolate
Ice cubes (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS
Slice the Mango into cubes
Prepare the simple chocolate sauce. Add 1 Tablespoon cocoa powder/drinking chocolate and 2 Tablespoons icing sugar, add more if needed to create a thick chocolate sauce. Drizzle the chocolate sauce in the glass and let it run down the glass to create patterns then put in the fridge to chill as you prepare the Lassi
Add the plain yogurt into a blender
Add in the chopped mango
Add 3 or more pieces of the rum & raisin chocolate
Add a handful of ice cubes
The mixture ready to be blended
Pulse the mixture on high a few minutes at a time
Taste the mango Lassi and adjust the sweetness by adding 2 tablespoons of honey
Pulse/blend some more stopping at intervals
You will get a very smooth consistency. You can stop or continue to blend/pulse until your desired consistency
Pour in the prepared glass, garnish with cubed mangoes.

- 1 Bar Rum&Raisin Chocolate
- Handful Icecubes
Instructions
Slice the mangoes into cubesDecorate the glass with chocolate sauceAdd the plain yogurt, mango and 3 or more pieces of chocolate into a blender. Blend until smooth. Taste to adjust the sweetener if neededPour in the chilled glass and serveYou can also chill just before serving
