Exquisite Culinary Journey at Mr Wok Kenya Restaurant

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Mr. Wok Restaurant in Nairobi and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. Located in the heart of the city, this restaurant has become a culinary gem, offering a delightful blend of authentic Chinese flavors and a warm, inviting atmosphere. The ambiance at Mr. Wok is a perfect balance of elegance and comfort. Soft lighting, tasteful decor, and traditional Chinese elements create a welcoming space for both intimate dinners and celebratory gatherings. The restaurant's attention to detail in design contributes to a relaxed and enjoyable dining environment.

NAIROBI KITCHEN presents "23 restaurants in 2023 ULTIMATE FOOD TOUR!

"It's 2023 and the first month is almost coming to an end. I know I have been MIA the whole of last year but I want to change all that. Somehow, I don't know what but I kind of lost my passion or rather put it in the back burner as I ran the rat race that is life. After all that time has passed I still know that I LOVE to cook and eat. So to start off the year I will be undertaking a personal challenge. I have always wanted to visit restaurants and kept postponing for this reason or the other. So to get myself motivated, I will start a challenge "23 Restaurants in 2023" this challenge is about visiting 23 different restaurants in 2023! That should be at least 2 restaurants every month, apart from January which I will only visit one so that by the end, they are 23. Looking foward to the challenge and hopefully when it's the end of te year, I will have experienced some delicios food in places I might not have gone.

LA MAISON ROYALE - RESTAURANT REVIEW

Wow! That's the first thought that came to mind after walking into this place. La Maison Royale Restaurant is a cozy hotel that is tucked away in westlands and the location is something that you might overlook or even pass by without seeing it. How I found myself here? We were throwing a baby shower for my sister and this place was just perfect. Private warm and cozy. The restaurant spot is made in such a way that it feels like you are in a cozy house rather than a stiff restaurant space. For me the best part was the table setting and the interior decor done at the space where the baby shower was to be. Decor was done by one of our friends who owns an event planning company. The theme was black and white so we all had on the theme color. There were things I liked about this place and others I did not like. Read along to find out what they were. What are some of your experiences at restaurants that you have visited? I would like to know

TILAPIA BEACH KISUMU - RESTAURANT REVIEW

If there is a place that is known to have the freshest and most delicious fish in Kenya it's Kisumu! Today's restaurant review is about Tilapia Beach Restaurant. A tranquil little spot that sits near the lake as cool breezes hits your face. Tilapia Beach is not the only restaurant here, there are dozen of little restaurants surrounding it that serve fish, the main item on the menu. Travelling is always fun and this day we had decided to take a little tour of Kisumu City to see their main attractions. We had planned to go on a boat ride but running some errands left us with little time to enjoy that boat ride. So we opted to go for lunch instead. In this location there were many restaurants which made it a bit hectic getting to this specific spot. It was like market day as there were loud women at the entrances of all these little eating spots calling customers in. "Ingia upate samaki fresh daddy" (come in for fresh fish daddy),
"Kwa odhis, samaki tamu" (delicious fish at odhis'" they kept calling. Luckily for us we had a local who knew the best place we could have our meal.

RADISSON BLU LARDER - RESTAURANT REVIEW

Hope y'all been good this past few days that I haven't been around. Life happens and then you find yourself not entering the kitchen for a while. I have been cooking, in my mind though, but I promise I will be cooking for real soon! Enough chit chatter, lets get to the matter at hand. My first restaurant review! I've always seen Radison Blu Nairobi from afar and always wanted to give it a peek and see the inside of such a beautiful building. I had heard rave reviews and it seemed like a mighty fine place to wine and dine.A week ago I got the chance to just do that, the dine part 😉.. It was a family dinner and so it was a really great evening. We had wanted the buffet but we were informed it wasn't a busy night so it was not available. Not willing to dampen our mood, we settled for the ala carte menu. So let's begin the evening reminiscings
