Inspired by Japanese-style dressings, this blend of fresh carrots, zesty ginger, rice vinegar, and a touch of sesame oil offers bold flavor and a smooth texture. It's perfect as a dip, salad topper, or sauce for grilled meats and veggies.

Not only is it easy to make at home, but it's also packed with nutrients, making it a healthy upgrade for any meal. I love how tangy, sweet and aromatic this salad dressing is. Salad dressings can be sweet, spicy, light or even thick depending on what you will be pouring over. Some of the types of salad dressing include thousand island dressing, wafu dressing, tahini, blue cheese, Italian, ginger, honey mustard, French salad among others. Dressings make your plain ol' salad exotic by upping the flavour and taste. Fresh ingredients with a little sesame oil to add that nutty flavour gives you this perfect salad dressing that will take you for several salads that you will prepare as starters, lunch or dinner. Add this to my pineapple coleslaw salad or even the avocado cucumber salad to add vibrant flavors that match perfectly

INGREDIENTS



1 Carrot
1/4 Cup Red Wine Vinegar
1 Tablespoon Honey
2 Tablespoons Vegetable Oil
1 Tablespoon Fresh Ginger
1/2 Teaspoon Sesame Oil
1/8 Teaspoon Salt
1/8 Teaspoon Black Pepper

METHOD
Add red wine vinegar in a blender


Add chopped ginger


Add chopped carrot


Add vegetable oil


Add sesame oil


Add honey


Add salt and pepper


All ingredients ready to be pureed


Blend until smooth


Sieve mixture and store in an airtight container for up to a week

Ingredients
  • 1 Carrot
  • 1/4 Cup Red Wine Vinegar
  • 1 Tablespoon Honey
  • 2 Tablespoons Vegetable Oil
  • 1 Tablespoon Ginger
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Sesame Oil
  • 1/8 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1/8 Teaspoon Black Pepper
Cooking Directions
  1. Add Carrot, Red Wine Vinegar, Honey, Vegetable Oil, Fresh Ginger, Sesame Oil, Salt and Black Pepper in a blender
  2. Blend all the ingredients until smooth
  3. Sieve the mixture to get a fine consistency
  4. Pour over salad or store in airtight container for later use
