📝 Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Q1: What makes wholewheat flour different from all-purpose flour in this recipe?
Wholewheat flour contains the entire wheat kernel, including bran and germ, making it higher in fiber and nutrients compared to all-purpose flour, which is more refined and lighter.

Q2: Can I use any sweetener?
Yes! You can use sugar, honey, maple syrup, or any sugar substitute. Adjust quantity according to your taste and the sweetness level of your chosen sweetener.

Q3: How do I ensure the mug cake cooks evenly in the microwave?
Use a microwave-safe mug and avoid overfilling it. Stir the batter well before cooking, and cook in short intervals if needed, checking for doneness with a toothpick.

Q4: Can I add mix-ins to this mug cake?
Definitely! Chocolate chips, nuts, dried fruits, or spices like cinnamon or vanilla extract can enhance flavor and texture.

Q5: Is this recipe suitable for vegans?
It can be adapted to vegan by using plant-based milk (like almond or soy), flax eggs or chia eggs instead of regular eggs, and a vegan sweetener.

Q6: How long does the mug cake keep?
Best eaten immediately or within a few hours. It tends to dry out if stored too long but can be briefly reheated.
