GARLIC HERB RUB



This dry herb rub is the best thing to happen to my meat dishes. Herb rubs usually combine dried herbs, spice and even sweet elements like brown sugar. In this garlic herb rub I used garlic powder but you can mince the garlic and mix into the other herbs. 

INGREDIENTS



1 Teaspoon Dried Parsley
1 Teaspoon Mint
1/2 Teaspoon Dried Oregano
1/2 Teaspoon Dried Basil
1/4 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
1/4 Teaspoon Black Pepper
1/4 Teaspoon Onion Powder
Pinch Salt

METHOD
Add dried mint to small bowl


Add dried thyme


Add dried basil


Add dried oregano


Add dried  parsley


Add black pepper


Add garlic powder


I love the complexity of spices in this bowl


The herbs are fragrant and very aromatic


With this dry herb rub you can also use raw garlic if you plan to use it immediately


Use spoon to mix the spice and herbs


Whisk until all the ingredients are well combined


A perfect dry herb blend that should be stored in airtight container for up to a month
