Toasted sandwiches are an easy and fast breakfast option that allows you to sit back and wait for your food. After all, the toaster does all the work as you sip coffee patiently waiting.
INGREDIENTS
4-6 Slices Bread
2 Boiled Eggs chopped
2 Tomatoes chopped
1 Teaspoon Black Pepper
1 Teaspoon Salt
2 Tablespoons Butter
METHOD
Sprinkle salt on the sliced boiled eggs
Sprinkle black pepper
Mix the salt and pepper into the eggs
Add black pepper into the tomatoes
Add salt
Mix well
Soften better to room temperature
Spread the butter on one side of each of the slice which will be on the outside while toasting
Finish all the slices
Line the boiled eggs in top of the unbuttered bread
Sprinkle a little more pepper and salt
Arrange the sliced tomatoes on top of the bread
Sprinkle a little black pepper or you can add chili/paprika
Fresh vibrant colors to excite you
Take one of the bread slices and place ontop of the one with boiled eggs and tomato
I love this combination, you get freshness from the tomato and plenty nutrients from the eggs
Cover the second bread
You can eat this sandwich as it is since the eggs are cooked and tomatoes are fresh
I chose to toast the bread since I wanted the crispness that comes with toasting it
Heat your toaster
Place one of the stuffed bread on one side of the toaster
Add the second one
Cover the toaster and let it toast away
The best part of toasting bread is that you can keep checking if the bread is browned to your liking
Crunchy, crispy delicious toast straight outta the toaster!
You can eat the sandwich hot, warm or refrigerate a few seconds before devouring it as a cold toast
So far I'm loving this toasted sandwich combo!
Browned to perfection. Slice the toasts so that you have four pieces of tomato egg toast
Breakfast ready with some tea or your favourite drink
